The 2024-2025 Ford Foundation Fellowship in Nonprofit Law has been filled. Applications for the 2025-2026 Ford Foundation Fellowship in Nonprofit Law will be opened in the Fall.

Term and Salary

The term of the Ford Foundation Fellowship in Nonprofit Law is one year. The 2024-2025 Fellowship will commence in September 2024 with the term ending in August 2025. Fellows will receive a salary of $100,000 plus benefits.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of a written application and interview. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing and rolling basis. Applications will be accepted until a fellow is selected or until March 15, 2024, whichever is earlier.

A completed application consists of the following items:

  • Fellowship Application
  • Official Law School Transcript
  • Resume
  • Two Letters of Recommendation, sent directly from:
    • Law School Professor, or
    • Former or Current Employer
      • At least one reference should be from a Law School Professor.
