Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation Fellowship in Nonprofit Law

2023 Fellow

Briana Abrams 

The inaugural Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation Fellowship in Nonprofit Law was awarded to Briana Abrams.  Immediately prior to joining the Foundation, Briana practiced public finance law for 10 years, supporting California public school districts and community college districts in the issuance of a variety of debt financings.  Briana earned a J.D., with an International Law Certificate, from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and a B.A. in Sociology, with a minor in Spanish Literature, from the University of California, San Diego.  While in law school, Briana participated in the International Human Rights Law Clinic, California Asylum Representation Clinic, Education Advocacy Clinic, and Boalt Hall Committee for Human Rights.  Immediately after law school, Briana served as a post-bar fellow for the San Francisco Human Rights Commission.
